Christmas Eve

Today is Christmas eve.. Memories came back and last year was really a fun and enjoyable Christmas eve at Arizona.. Now back in Singapore again the Christmas atmosphere wasn't that strong anymore..

5th Dec 2010 Sun - On this day we went to meet my ex colleague MK who is now a property agent.. He called me that there is a HDB unit for viewing so we went down to see it.. The unit is quite near to Jurong Point.. It's about 5 to 10 mins walk.. Location wise is very good.. It's on the 4th floor.. A bit low for our liking and the windows is facing the multi storey carpark.. Which mean its easily seen from outside.. Jerlyn doesn't like the design and decoration of the house which mean a lot of hacking and renovation to be done if we bought it.. And this is just our 1st viewing so its just a experience for us.. Next we went to MK's house to view as he spent 50k to renovate it.. He convert one of the room to become a walk-in wardrobe and storeroom which is quite creative.. He also knock down the bathroom wall and change into a glass so the bathroom is visible from the master bedroom.. Quite liberal and modern haha..

6th Dec 2010 Mon - I was still on leave but Jerlyn started working.. So I stay and home and rot haha..

7th Dec 2010 Tue - Rotting at home again haha..

8th Dec 2010 Wed - Went to see my Sis with my Mum and Cyndi's Mum too.. She meet me and my Mum at Hougang for breakfast before going to visit my Sis.. Heard that Cyndi's bro Jianfeng brought his wife to France for holiday with his company paying for his trip.. He only need to pay for his wife' share..

9th Dec 2010 Thurs - Met Mingfeng and Ailin at West Coast Plaza for lunch and chat about house.. MF was trying to buy resale flats too.. Heard from him that he is going to view a flat in Clementi so I decided to ask Jerlyn to join them for view later at night.. The Unit was on the 6th floor and location was really good.. Everything is nearby but just that for the small size of 86sqm for $608,000 is too steep and the master bedroom layout is too awkward.. If not MF might have bought it..

10th Dec 2010 Fri - Today was celebrating Trisa birthday.. So we went to Liang's Court to meet up with Trisa, Samuel, Liting and Cecilia for dinner at a ma la steamboat restaurant.. After that we went to Lunar, a club to chill out.. 1st time going to a Chinese songs theme club feel different..

11th Dec 2010 Sat - Jerlyn accompany me to PSB academy to pay my course fee.. 3 modules for $4500.. There goes my bonus.. course will start on the 1st week of Jan.. After 10 yrs of working.. I'm going back to study.. really having mixed feeling.. Pray hard I can pass all my exams and graduate..

12th Dec 2010 Sun - Jerlyn and I went down to Chinatown OG to buy my Christmas present.. She bought a aeroplane cuff link and 3 of my favourite Skinxwear for me.. Then bought Koi Tea down to Cecilia's house at Hougang for the ladies 1st Mahjong session.. The main players are Jerlyn, Cecilia, Liting and Trisa.. But Trisa was late so Cecilia's Mum takeover Trisa place 1st while I watch variety show for 4 hours.. After Trisa came over, Liting have to leave early so Me and Trisa took over Liting and Cecilia's Mum.. I haven't been playing mahjong for many years so took me awhile to get the hang of it.. Cecilia's Mum was the biggest winner and Liting was the biggest loser..

13th/14th Dec 2010 Mon/Tue - Me and Nic went to Tampines Concourse for our WITS and Techique course for two days..

15th/16th/17th Dec 2010 Wed/Thurs/Fri - Nothing much on these 3 days as I was back at work.. Jerlyn went for her company Christmas celebration and dinner at Paragon..

18th Dec 2010 Sat - Wake up early to go around Clementi Central to run our errands and brought Jerlyn's favourite Koi Tea.. Went to Bishan Ting to pay Jerlyn grandma a visit.. Jerlyn saw her brother's girlfriend for the 1st time..

19th Dec 2010 Sun - Went down to IMM to checkout if there is anymore of Jerlyn's Christmas present available but upon reaching there, there was a note saying Iphone 4 stock not available.. so we went walking and have our lunch.. Saw Sony Centre so decide to ask Sony to have our TV install to the wall.. When we were thinking of leaving, Jerlyn wanted to ask Starhub if we were able to reserve one Iphone 4 but to our amaze, there is still Iphone 4 available.. So we waited for 2 hours for our queue number before buying my wife her Christmas present..

20th/21st/22nd/23rd Dec 2010 Mon/Tue/Wed/Thurs - Nothing much again as I was working.. almost fell sick again but manage to recover.. I found out that I had already took 8 days of MC for this year after I came back in March..

24th Dec 2010 Fri - Christmas Eve.. Went to work in the morning.. Went for the brief for my Sunday duty and went for breakfast.. After that saw the other department of my flight having Christmas present exchange.. Can see their department are more united than my department.. After another brief and off to home..

Year 2010 is ending soon and another year is coming.. This year was quite an eventful year for me.. Came back from Arizona.. its really a nice place and I will miss that place.. Went to Hawaii with Jerlyn.. Really enjoy that place too.. went to Batam with Jerlyn.. Nothing much there and didn't got much to enjoy there.. Went to Korat Thailand for work.. Gain a lot of suffering and experience from there.. Went to Koh Samui with Jerlyn.. Enjoy the relaxation and the Spa there.. So next year resolutions will be passing all my exams and hope to get a flat.. Making babies may have to delay again because of Jerlyn's career just started and me going for study.. Not sure if even got the time to make babies a not..

Koh Samui

Went for course about creative and fell sick after that.. Went to Koh Samui Thailand to celebrate my 2nd wedding anniversary and also the 4th anniversary with Jerlyn together..

21st Nov 2010 Sun - Rotting at home again.. Its becoming a trend to rot at home now.. think I got to start working out again.. Getting fatter..

22nd Nov 2010 Mon - Went on a course in base about Creative and Visual Methods for Breakthrough Ideas.. Caught a cold as all the 3 air con and the 2 fans blowing at me..

23rd Nov 2010 Tue - Sneezing away as the course continue.. Was quite interesting as in we can use mind mapping for your daily work and personal work too..

24th Nov 2010 Wed - Couldn't take it and went to see the doctor with Jerlyn taking half way family care leave to accompany me.. How come I don't have family care leave? The medicine was so powerful that I ate and knock out most of the day..

25th Nov 2010 Thurs - Knew that early in the morning there will be a call to go back to work.. As I was sick so I just went back for 1 hour and came back home to sleep again..

26th Nov 2010 Fri - While I went back to home to sleep on Thurs the rest of the guys work 12 hrs plus.. After working for the 1st day of the week, I was having my 2 weeks leave again..

27th Nov 2010 Sat - Went to collect the stuff from Teck Tong at his house in Little India.. The stuff was brought by Jerlyn online and send to Shermaine and then send to Elaine then to Teck Tong then to us.. Went to Chinatown to change our Thai currency and also ate the famous Fish Head in special sauce.. Quite good but a little spicy.. Went to buy Koi as Chinatown branch doesn't have much people.. Old people doesn't like this kind of stuff..

28th Nov 2010 Sun - Packing our clothes and stuff in the luggage for our trip to Koh Samui.. It will be our 2nd wedding anniversary and also the 4th anniversary together.. Because our wedding date is just two days different from our anniversary..

29th Nov 2010 Mon - Jerlyn went back to work for 2 hours when she was suppose to be on leave.. Then she came back and we continue packing and went to Chinatown with Jerlyn's parents and 2nd brother before going to the Airport for dinner.. The flight to Koh Samui was about 1 hour and 30 minutes but they still provide dinner on board.. I was quite full so I didn't manage to finish it.. After reaching Koh Samui, we took the Airport Transfer to our resort and check in.. Didn't do much as was quite late so we unpack and turn in..

30th Nov 2010 Tue - Wake up early for our breakfast and went to ask about any tour around the island.. Went to walk around and laze at Starbucks.. Then it started to rain.. heard that it was the monsoon season so it will rain every day.. So we decided to go indoor we took a cab to Tesco and walk.. Tesco is like Walmart but smaller.. Went to MK restaurant to eat our lunch.. I ate it at Korat before but Jerlyn never tried it and she like it.. After Tesco we went back to the resort and rest and went back to the streets to walk again.. Came back to our resort restaurant to see the lady boys show during the dinner.. The Mango Ice Cream with Mango fruit and Sticky Rice is super good..

1st Dec 2010 Wed - After our breakfast we went for our tour around the island.. we book this tour for 3400 Baht which is about 150 dollars .. Our driver is a guy named Toto.. He drive us around with 6 other people in this 4x4 jeep to see the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, saw baby elephant, monkey and crocodile show, tried elephant trekking, went up mountain road to the waterfall but didn't swim, saw the mummified monk in his temple, went to the magic garden which doesn't feel magic to me, ate at the restaurant that can view 650 meters above sea level, see how rubber tapping is done and went to see the Big Buddha which is really huge.. We miss out on the show on how monkey climb up coconut tree to remove the coconut due to rain.. Overall it was ok only.. Maybe our hopes was higher than we expected.. Jerlyn was saying that we should also try the water activities too but we didn't.. For dinner we went to restaurant called Will Wait Restaurant to eat.. Didn't wait long but also didn't make us wanted to wait either.. Just that they were showing movies so we didn't mind waiting..

2nd Dec 2010 Thurs - Another rainy day.. After the breakfast we wanted to go out for walk but it started raining again so we decided to move forward our spa and go out later.. 1st was the Hydro Bubble Bath.. so the massage therapist told us to take off our clothes and wear the special underwear they provided and go into the tub.. I heard wrongly and thought take off clothes go into tub come up to shower then wear the underwear.. so after the bath the massage therapists came in again and told us to get out of the tub.. then I know I make a mistake haha so the therapist took a towel to let me cover up and go shower.. next was the body scrub.. they give us the underwear again but Jerlyn found out that the special underwear was able to see thru it after she caught the therapist looking at my family jewel.. But the underwear was so comfortable and I think for Thai massage they are more liberal and don't really cover us up for easier massaging so I'm not complaining haha.. After the scrub was the body mask.. they apply the body mask on us and then use those transparent wrap to wrap us up like we are salmon haha.. After the mask was the oil massage.. Really good she really make all my muscle relax after that.. The last was the facial mask.. After that they massage us again as we were stiff after doing the facial mask lying in that position.. Then there was fruits and tea for us after the whole session..
It was really better than the Spa we took in Batam.. Worth spending 4500 Baht which is 198 dollars.. Because they really make us comfortable during the whole session.. Not like the Batam one where the shorts they gave me to wear was so uncomfortable and difficult to massage too.. That is why I feel that Thai massage is better than other countries in terms of comfort and skills.. After the Spa we went to McDonald's to eat and then walk the streets but it rained again so we cut short and went for dinner at this restaurant called Khaosan Restaurant..

3rd Dec 2010 Fri - After breakfast we pack and took some pictures before checking out.. We went to Black Canyon Coffee for lunch and laze but it started rain again.. so we run back to resort and waited for our Airport Transfer to bring us to Airport.. The Airport really looks like an Outlet in Arizona if mistaken because it doesn't look like a Airport to me.. Finally ended our holiday and went back to Singapore.. It was really relaxing.. 1st time didn't feel stressful as they wasn't much things for us to do.. We were just lazing around and relaxing..

4th Dec 2010 Sat - Wake up today surf some Internet and uploaded photos of our trip.. upload till vomit blood.. the uploading is super slow lo.. Jerlyn went to meet her colleague to gossip about the week that she was not in.. Jerlyn's Mum think that she is too free haha..

On Leave and Gathering

Finally got to clear my leave so I tried to make full use of the leave to do something important and not waste it.. Got to meet with quite a few of my Insurance Agents and My Secondary Friends and the PC2 Wives Club members..

7th Nov 2010 Sun - Didn't do much things on this day, just hanging out with Jerlyn and watching dramas together..

8th Nov 2010 Mon - My 1st day of my leave.. I tried to clear all my documents regarding insurance policies and bills.. Cleared 30% of it..

9th Nov 2010 Tue - Continue to clear my documents as there is a mountain to clear.. almost finish 50% of it.. Went to West Coast Plaza to meet Tiangui and Ming Feng for dinner at Thai Express.. Saw Yep Hao was there too with his friend.. Jenny came and join us for drinks at Trully's Coffee.. Tiangui was showing off his Apple I Pad to us.. didn't manage to talk much as Ming Feng need to go back early..

10th Nov 2010 Wed - Went to visit my Sister with my Mum.. still the same don't know how long will her condition be better..

11th Nov 2010 Thurs - Continue with my clearing and now almost 90% done.. Went to meet my new HSBC Agent Gilbert at Clementi Mcdonalds to know more about my policies.. He was my 3rd Agent from HSBC..

12th Nov 2010 Fri - Finishing my clearing and went to the Degree Preview at PSB Henderson.. Listen to the lecturer from the University of Newcastle, Australia and decided to apply for the Part Time Degree for the Bachelor of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety.. Saw my colleague Bernard there too.. He was taking the same course as me.. At least there is a classmate that I know..

13th Nov 2010 Sat - It was Huijun and Nicholas's son Kaden 1st month old celebration at Huijun's House at night but Nicholas was having lesson and they didn't invite anyone else that we know so Nicholas told me not to go if we feel awkward as they only invite close friends and family members.. And that night Jerlyn's friend Mindy was having her wedding dinner at Fullerton Hotel so we only can go to one of them so we decided to go for the wedding dinner.. The food at Fullerton wasn't that fantastic anyway but the wedding favours was good.. The food at Conrad Hotel was better..

14th Nov 2010 Sun - Nothing much to do again as me and Jerlyn rotting at home again.. Seems like most of our Sundays has been rotting at home and doing nothing much.. One of the reasons is we wanted to save money for our house and our holiday trip at the end of the month..

15th Nov 2010 Mon - Last day of my leave so I make full use of it and went to PSB Delta to apply for my part time degree.. The school was not bad went around to check out the place and was impressed by it..

16th Nov 2010 Tue - Went back to work and lots of shit to clear.. seems like the work will always pile up when I'm on leave..

17th Nov 2010 Wed - Another rest day as it was Hari Raya Haji a public holiday for us and celebrations for the Muslims.. Me and Jerlyn rotted at home again..

18th and 19th Nov 2010 Thurs and Fri - Working day.. Think I'm lack of exercise and on leave for too long.. Getting forgetful and clumsy.. Making silly mistake.. Fri after work me and Jerlyn went to meet Lili plus Aerith, Linda, Hema plus Jayden the 3 of the PC2 wives club members.. Kok Foong went too.. We meet at Velocity at Novena Square NYDC for dinner and Toa Payoh Wavve Pub for chill out..

20th Nov 2010 Sat - Jerlyn went to help out in the stall as I was waiting for my recall as rumors stated was on this day early morning but it turn out to be a false alarm.. so I slept till 10plus in the morning.. Evening went out with Jerlyn, Jinson and their Mum at West Coast Plaza for foot massage and Dinner but end up buying home to eat..

Joyce's Wedding

Attended Joyce's Wedding and meeting up insurance agent to know more about my investment and finances as me and Jerlyn are trying for our new flat.. Went for the APGC sports and cohesion day..

24th Oct 2010 Sun - Got to work on this day.. Went in with 3 other guys to clear some paper work and also some backdated log.. It was quite a eventful day as things were done thou not much..

25th to 29th Oct 2010 Mon to Fri - Nothing much as I continue to work.. Met my Prudential Agent Eunice Tan for the 1st time.. She is my 2nd agent for Prudential since Sarah left.. Get to check with my investment and also she tried selling Prudential Health Shield to me while I already have one..

30th Oct 2010 Sat - Went to Orchard with Jerlyn for her Waxing session.. After she finished she wanted me to try the face wax.. felt hot while the lady pour hot wax on my face.. the feeling wasn't that good and the result wasn't that good either.. She went on to remove one of my black dead skin which has stayed on my face for many years.. thou it was painful the result seems not bad..

31st Oct 2010 Sun - Jerlyn wake up super early as she got to be Joyce's bridesmaid aka sister.. I wake up early with her and stone all day.. during the evening time we went over to Conrad Hotel to check on Joyce if she needed any help.. I was stoning all the way and don't know what to do.. The dinner was not bad as the lobster soup is really good and the dessert was good too..

1st Nov 2010 Mon - Took a day off and went to meet Cyndi with Jerlyn for lunch at Sun Plaza Thai Express.. She haven't started searching for her wedding venue for next year wedding yet.. Hope she can get a place to get married.. Must block her wedding date can't go anywhere because I really want to go for her wedding.. she doted me and help me for my wedding so it my turn to return the favor.. Got back our GPS from her too.. Went to settle some bank issue and some insurance issue too..

2nd to 3rd Nov 2010 Tue to Wed - Work as usual but quite a short week.. started with the wearing of head gear in public but I don't think people will do it in Singapore as this is not the culture for it.. Went to meet my AIA Agent Dale Leo about my investment and inquiry of the Health Shield..

4th Nov 2010 Thurs - It's APGC Sports and Cohesion Day.. Got to go to Yishun Safra for the morning briefing and afternoon sports.. Tried to be different so I wear red tee shirt rather than the usual navy blue or white tee shirt.. The result was good as I'm the only one wearing red.. Went for Air Rifle shooting and Bowling.. Air Rifle shooting was really different from the usual M16 rifle that I shot from..

5th Nov 2010 Fri - It's Deepavali and another rest day for us.. went to clementi hawker centre to eat as it had just reopen one week ago.. went to eat my favourite Wanton Mee and also queue up for Jerlyn's favourtie KOI drink.. Then we went to IMM to buy some Christmas decoration.. In the evening went to meet my Prudential Agent Eunice again.. She compare to me with her Health Shield policy and after some consideration I decided to take her Health Shield..

6th Nov 2010 Sat - Went to help out at the stall as It was the first day of the lunar month so there will be a lot of people eating.. After helping out we came home and rot at home..

A new born

A new baby was born from Huijun.. Finally her dreams come true when Kaden was born on 20th Oct 2010.. Other then that nothing interesting happened..

7th Oct 2010 Thurs - After coming back from Korat I got my deserve det off.. Jerlyn took day off from her company to accompany at home all day..

8th Oct 2010 Fri - Back to work again.. Darren was back from his disembarkation leave and was on his 1st day at work.. Chatted with him about life in PC2.. Really miss the life in Arizona where me and Jerlyn got our own apartment and can do whatever we want but the working environment sucks there..

9th Oct 2010 Sat - Continue my slacking at home with Jerlyn.. doesn't feel like going out..

10th Oct 2010 Sun - Sent Jerlyn's parents and aunt to Airport as they were going on tour to Taiwan.. After sending I went to the stall to help out Jerlyn and Jinson..

11th to 15th Oct 2010 Mon to Fri - Working again.. Got to work on the shit left behind in Korat and those pile up stuff over here while I was over in Korat.. Wanted to go visit my mum but was told that my sis went into hospital again because of her fever.. So went to NUH to visit her..

16th Oct 2010 Sat - Went down to help Jerlyn and Jinson at the stall again and saw Irene biao jie.. she was with her husband eating breakfast there..

17th Oct 2010 Sun - Went down to help Jerlyn and Jinson again.. Went back home and discuss about our anniversary trip to Koh Samui Thailand..

18th to 22nd Oct 2010 Mon to Fri - Same old working stuff.. Finally booked our anniversary trip.. It will be our 2nd anniversary trip but the 1st after coming back from the States.. 1st anniversary trip after wedding was a trip to Flagstaff to see and play snow.. Wed was the 20th Oct 2010 so in calendar it was 20/10/2010.. Huijun decided to give birth on this date so Kaden Lam was born.. Went to visit her at Mount Alveria Hospital.. Nicholas was staying overnight to accompany Huijun and Kaden and I was told by Nicholas that it was 80 dollars per night to stay there with Huijun as she was staying in a single bed ward which allows husband to stay overnight..

23rd Oct 2010 Sat - Went to eat MacDonald's as Jerlyn was trying to win the MacDonald's Monopoly game prizes.. 1st prize is 80 thousand dollars cash.. At night Jerlyn went to meet Joyce for Joyce Hens night party before she get married on the 30th later this month.. think it was her 1st time going to hens night party.. I never went to a bachelor party before didn't know how is it like..

Back in Singapore

Back in Singapore again after 34 days of detachment in Korat, Thailand..

3rd Sept 2010 Fri - Went to Paya Lebar Air Base early in the morning at 6am as I got a flight to catch.. sitting in a C130 Cargo plane for 4 hours is no joke.. Where everything is packed.. I couldn't move my legs and had to stay in the same position for 4 hours.. Glad that I reach there before time.. but it wasn't a good day.. 1st day reaching there and got to work till midnight.. what a good day to start on the 1st day..

It was quite a detachment I would say.. not my 1st time going to Korat since my last Korat det was 3 years ago in Sept 2007.. But it was the 1st time going there as my own trade.. and it was really an experience as my system is going to use in Korat for the 1st time as no one has ever done it before in the history of Korat.. and also really something happened and I as the only guy who knew the system well got to go find out the problems when 3 problems came up.. Everyone was like waiting for my answer what to do, how to do.. as I said this was also my 1st time involving this problems.. but all went well just that a lot of shit need to cover and clear.. Worked 4 days of long hours just to clear these problems.. Everyone was cursing and swearing what bad luck we had.. But I think these problems could have done a better way if there are more of our trade guys around.. Anyway its over and I didn't want to involve in the next detachment if there is another same case again..

Working wise I won't say its all bad.. There is times that there is really good days we could go in and wait and then go back to barrack and rest..

For off work events.. I had 5 weekends over in Korat and it seems like 5 months over there.. not much things for me to do over there.. the main activities there is sex and booze.. lots of it.. I think their sex industry is booming because of us.. For me who is married and don't drink at all, going there is somehow a torturing.. The only things I did there was going shopping (very limited every weekend going to the same place but still manage to buy good stuff for Jerlyn) , going for sightseeing once (because no one wants to go and its too far for me to go alone), going to Internet cafe (the only place that I can kill my time), eating (which i find good and cheap thou I don't eat spicy) and also visiting 7-11 for tit bits and drinks ( I think I went there at least 30 times).. And the Internet sucks big time.. they are still using 2G network instead of SG 3G network.. So I really glad I am back in Singapore with my love one now..

6th Oct 2010 Wed - Wake up early getting ready to board my plane back to SG.. took 3 and a half hour to reach back SG.. Looking out of the window to see if I had reach SG already.. After reaching Paya Lebar Air Base, we still got to wait for our main luggage.. waited about half an hour before the luggage came.. Thought that the customs should be quite fast but it took another half an hour.. The guy from the customs was so detail that he even check everyone laptop one by one to see if there is any pornography inside our laptop.. One guy was caught with pornography in his laptop and his laptop and passport was confiscated.. the other guy brought in pork floss which is illegal in SG had his passport taken too.. Finally came out and saw Jerlyn just arrived in time.. She gave me a surprise that I thought she would not done it but she did.. It was a challenge for her and she overcame it.. I'm proud of her.. Miss her so much..

Overall for the whole detachment I would say if it is 2 weeks that should be enough for me.. And I stayed there for 5 weekends.. really going to explode at the last week of the detachment.. If I was there any longer I will sure go crazy..

Leaving for Korat

Going for Korat Detachment soon.. will miss Jerlyn.. Went to Singapore Flyer with Jerlyn before leaving..

28th Aug 2010 Sat - Went to Orchard as Jerlyn went for her waxing.. And we went to Takashimaya Square to try moon cakes as Mooncake festival is coming soon.. After that we went to the Singapore Flyer as we have the free tickets from the Big Walk that we participated in July.. The views was not bad but maybe its still early in the day.. I think the sunset views will be better.. While we were in the capsule we saw something that make us realise that going up the Singapore Flyer ladies should not wear miniskirt up as it will be easily exposed when up there.. After the ride we went to Golden Mile Market to have our dinner and the main reason for me is to go change Thai Baht at the money changer at Golden Mile Complex.. Not bad as I managed to change 23 Baht for 1 Sing Dollar..

29th Aug 2010 Sun - Stay at home all day and rest as we had nothing to do..

1st Sept 2010 Wed - RSAF day but nothing unusual as I still got work.. After work went to Takashimaya with Jerlyn again to meet Cyndi and Hansheng for dinner.. Cyndi wanted to celebrate my birthday for me before I leave Singapore as my birthday will be at Korat.. But she was not feeling well but she still insist in coming to meet us.. I manage to stop her from buying cake for me but make her to go to the taka square to try moon cakes again haha.. Cyndi keep trying the durian moon cake till her cough flare up again..

2nd Sept 2010 Thurs - Having a day off as the next day I will be flying to Korat.. Packing and watching drama with Jerlyn as she also took day off to accompany me.. Hope this detachment will be a smooth one and hope I can enjoy the place there.. But really hope to come back to Singapore soon to see Jerlyn again.. I will miss you Jerlyn..

Bird Park

Went to the Bird Park to celebrate Ceilia's birthday.. Went to meet Jenny and Tiangui for lunch and chat.. Went for injection for the upcoming detachment and also doing my 1st BOS duty.. that how I spend my two weeks..

15th Aug 2010 Sun - It's Ceilia's Birthday so the gals Jerlyn, Liting and Trisa decided to go Jurong Bird Park to celebrate her birthday with me and Samuel along.. Liting who just bought a new car drove Ceilia, Jerlyn and me to the Bird Park and meet Trisa and Samuel there.. Took alot of photos with us doing funny poses.. but the weather wasn't that good.. It rained while we were there but everyone were prepared brought our own umbrellas and Trisa and Samuel even brought Poncho.. After finished walking and playing around in the Bird Park.. We went to Bugis Junction Lenas Restaurant to eat.. 1st time trying the banana with peanut and chocolate pizza.. taste weird..

16th to 20th Aug 2010 Mon to Fri - As usual working.. Friday went to medical centre to do my dental FFI and also have my injection done.. went there with 4 other colleagues and we were like goofing around and disturbing the medic and asking them alot of questions about Hep A and B..

21st Aug 2010 Sat - Went to meet Jenny and Tiangui for lunch at West Coast Market.. We were suppose to meet last Sat but Tiangui as the organiser forgot about it.. So Jenny took up the responsible and organise this lunch.. As usual Tiangui was late again so me and Jenny chatted and waited for him to come.. After that we went to for our dessert at nearby and chat about work and future study.. Tiangui was thinking of getting scholarship from the company to get his degree in HR..

22nd Aug 2010 Sun - rotting at home as it the only day Jerlyn not working so we end up watching TV all the day..

23rd to 25th Aug 2010 Mon to Wed - Working and nothing special..

26th Aug 2010 Thur - It my BOS duty on this day so I got to go in at the same time and meet the Chief and listen to him to know my task of the day.. After taking over from the previous day BOS.. I started my duty walking around and doing my task.. I got my own BOS room so when I was tired I went back to my room and rest.. I even have my own TV so after finishing my task I went back to the room and changed and watch TV and fell asleep..

27th Aug 2010 Fri - Wake up and changed.. I went to do my task and its time to hand over.. So i went to meet the Chief again and hand over my task to the next BOS.. And time to go back home.. Brought Mcdonalds for Jerlyn and me for breakfast.. Showered and went out with Jerlyn again.. Went to Toa Payoh to ask about the housing but didn't have much luck.. got to wait for the flats to be ready.. Went to visit my Sis since it quite near and saw my Mum there.. Went back home and rest and in the evening time me and Jerlyn went to my workplace to send my luggage in.. After that we went to IMM and walk..

Batam Trip

Went for our 1st overseas trip after coming back from the States.. It was 5 months since coming back from Singapore and going out on a trip with my dear Jerlyn.. And it was since 5 months coming back that I realised that I need to change a hand phone.. Kinda regret why I didn't change my hand phone back then when my contract ended.. Maybe feel that my old trusty Nokia hand phone can last.. But after dropping a few times with lines on the screen and battery getting weaker every time.. I realised its time to change a hand phone but abit too late as I'm only 5 months into my contract and I only can get a non contract hand phone with more expensive prices.. Was eyeing the new HTC Touch 2 non-camera edition but a non contract will cost about 600 plus..

2nd Aug 2010 Mon - It was RSD today and everyone is working in one shift.. I was coughing and sneezing badly.. think I am getting sick.. Jerlyn's parents went to Thailand so got to buy our own dinner..

3rd to 4th Aug 2010 Tue to Wed - Went to work but feeling dizzy.. so went to medical centre to see doctor.. waited for 2 hours for my turn.. By the time I was feeling more worse than before.. While waiting to collect my medicine.. The medic told me that their cough syrup was out of stock so they won't be giving me the cough syrup.. If I really want it I have to go buy myself or come back another day to see the doctor again to get the medicine.. By the time I might be dead.. Rested two days at home and drinking my cough syrup from my previous medication..

5th to 6th Aug 2010 Thurs to Fri - Back to work but still coughing.. went to visit my parents on Thurs.. got to fill in one of the forms for my sister financial grant..

7th Aug 2010 Sat - Went to East Coast Park to rollerblade after sending Jerlyn's parents for dinner at commonwealth.. Went to eat Burger King with our blades on.. After that went back to fetch them and went home to pack for our trip to Batam..

8th Aug 2010 Sun - Wake up early and packed our bags to go for our Batam Trip.. Actually there was nothing much to pack as we only going to stay there for a day.. Just one set of clothes was enough.. Reached Batam around 9 plus in the morning.. Changed the currency and feel like richer as 100 Sing dollars can change 650,000 Indo dollars.. Went for the day tour.. Was quite normal as most of the place the tour brought us too was not really attractive to us.. Only the Polo Ralph and the Hard Rock shirts caught my eyes.. The lunch at the Seafood Restaurant really sucks.. Everyone was complaining.. The Resort that we were staying was normal.. the beachfront cottage was nice as we could see the views of the Marina Bay Sands from afar.. But the water doesn't seem to be clean and clear.. seem like dirty sea water to me.. The room was okay abit small.. Compare to the one at Langkawi that we stayed in 2007 the one in Langkawi was better..

9th Aug 2010 Mon - It the National Day of Singapore.. Here we are in Batam having our breakfast looking at MBS.. The breakfast was again normal.. Can be better I suppose.. After our breakfast we went back to room and relax as we are still early for our 3 hour Spa.. When we reach our Spa we were still early and got to wait awhile.. When its our turn we were told to changed into sarong and have our bubble bath.. Abit like the hot tub that we took in Langkawi but this was not hot and having bubble covering us.. After that we showered and lie on the spa table and get ready for the scrub and mask.. I think the sarong shorts that the lady gave me was too long that she keep pushing it up my thigh.. Compare to the Langkawi Spa they gave me a disposable brief I will prefer the brief as it is a better choice for spa than the sarong shorts.. After that showered again and had our oil massage.. the massage was not bad just that we couldn't shower again after the oil massage and it quite make us sticky while rushing back to the ferry terminal to take our ferry back.. Next time if we are to go again.. We will try another resort and spa and do the spa 1st and day tour later.. It will be better this way..

10th Aug 2010 Tue - Went for a course inside my workplace and was quite tired.. wasn't really paying attention to the lesson..

11th Aug 2010 Wed - Went for an understudy under one of my colleague for the duty that I need to do at the end of the month.. the understudy duty was to work from 3pm to 10pm but the actual duty will be working from 745 in the morning to 8plus in the next morning after handover the duty.. The duty was quite easy just that it will be quite boring so I think I will need some entertainment when I doing my duty later in the month..

12th Aug 2010 Thurs - Back to work in the morning again.. went to visit my parents again..

13th Aug 2010 Fri - Went to NUH MMI to take my Dental OPG.. the Dental OPG only took few mins and then I went to the canteen to eat with my colleagues.. After that my colleague send me back to work and a colleague from CAB came over to help me solve some issue that we had long ago.. Work till 7 in the evening before leaving work for home..

14th Aug 2010 Sat - Went to Jerlyn's parents' stall to eat breakfast and also send Jerlyn to work.. In the afternoon went back to fetch Jerlyn's parents and went to Pasir Panjang and West Coast to collect stuff.. After reaching home it rain heavily and 3 of us only with one umbrella and load of stuffs to bring up were wet..

Jac's Birthday

This two weeks seem pretty normal.. Went to celebrate Jac's birthday.. Went to Jason's wedding lunch.. Went to Vivocity with Jerlyn to shop around.. Went to CAB East for course..

28th to 30th July 2010 Wed to Fri - Went to CAB East with one of the colleague for course.. CAB East was really far.. After I took MRT from Clementi to Tampines I still got to take my colleague car into CAB East which is near Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.. The course was quite good but it rain on two days and I caught a cold during the rain.. On Friday went to meet Jerlyn to meet her Ex Tai Tai gang with Lili and Aerith, Linda and Teck Tong, Boon and Jiamin and also Hema too.. The ladies had a good chat while the guys were busy playing Iphone and Itouch..

31st July 2010 Sat - Last min got called upon to work.. But went in booking out all the keys and tools by myself was really tiring.. But the worse part is when doing the task, I was told that I can do it on Monday so I doesn't need to do double job if fail.. So going in on Sat was really unnecessary..

1st Aug 2010 Sun - Went to Jason's wedding at Mandai.. was quite interesting to held the wedding there as the surrounding are all orchid plantation.. After that Jerlyn meet me to go Vivocity to buy some daily products such as tit bits and underwear..

Big Walk

Went to the Big Walk with Jerlyn today as we planned long ago.. 1st time going for the Big Walk really an experience for us.. Had a one week break from work to think about what I really want for my future but for now what I really want is have a happy family with Jerlyn and hope to get our love nest soon.. Went to see the social worker about my sis again.. Went for a Course about Food Hygiene with Jerlyn..

Working for 9 years in the company I finally won myself the 13th prize a Ipod Touch 8gb in the lucky draw.. after the dinner Jerlyn came to fetch me to West Coast Mac and have her supper..

10th July 2010 Sat - Jerlyn went to work again for the whole day.. So I stay home all day to watch drama and surf net cos I was still bloated after last night 8 course dinner.. Think I ate too much..

11th July 2010 Sun - Stayed at home and rest as my stomach feeling pain..

12th July 2010 Mon - Went out with Jerlyn's parents and XueNing to Holland Village for dinner.. After that went to fetch 4th Aunt and Ben to West Coast Market for their dinner.. XueNing continue her 2nd round.. It was almost 8pm so I drive everyone to Jerlyn's workplace to fetch her.. Reaching home Jerlyn send me to see doctor for my stomach pain.. turn out to be too much gastric gas and acid in my stomach..

13th July 2010 Tue - Went to Jerlyn's Workplace to meet her for lunch.. didn't really spend much time with Jerlyn after she started work so went to meet her for lunch and spend some quality time with her..

14th July 2010 Wed - Went with my parents to BuangKok Medical Park to visit my sister and also went back home for dinner with them.. After the new distance fare for the SMRT started it seems that the fare is more expensive as I took 4 different bus and MRT route from home to Ren Ci..

15th July 2010 Thurs - Stay home all day to research for my course that I would like to study but didn't have much progress as most of the course is either no part time or are those that I am not interested in.. Either I start again and study another Diploma of the course I want to study or take a part time Degree course which is an engineering course which I don't like..

16th July 2010 Fri - Went to BuangKok Medical Park with my parents again to visit my sister and also to see the Social Worker.. From what he say I finally know most of the picture.. now just hope by end of the year we can apply the financial assistance and the government grant for my sister.. Went to Jurong East CPF Building with my dad to ask about his CPF.. After that went to Tiong Bahru Central Plaza to redeem my Nets flash pay 50 dollars top up that I won..

17th July 2010 Sat - Went to a Food Hygiene Course with Jerlyn and her Brother Vincent and 4th Aunt at Shaw Tower.. A whole day course plus it was conducted in Chinese make Jerlyn grumpy as she was lacking of sleep.. I was enjoying the course as it was new and interesting to me but to Jerlyn she had already know about it.. After the MCQ test which was interesting and funny, it was the oral and practical test.. I was quite clumsy and blur.. The Tester was very long winded and I took longer than Jerlyn to complete the Test.. After the course me and Jerlyn went to Holland Village Coffee Club to meet Nicholas and Huijun to talk about the Batam Trip.. Had my Chocolate Mud Pie since the last one in McGrath Fish House in Arizona last year.. Huijun's tummy was getting rounder as she will be due in Oct.. The last time I saw her her tummy was still quite small.. We seems like we couldn't find the best package for our Batam trip cos of the Spa package and also the Timing to go.. But after all the chatting and stoning we finally found the one we wanted..

18th July 2010 Sun - Waking up at 5am in the morning for the Big Walk.. Jerlyn was feeling tired and we forgot to bring both our hand phone out haha.. It was our 1st time we went to the Big Walk since it started in 1991.. It was quite fun but I felt that it was a bit short for 5km walk.. didn't really had much exercise.. But it was a good exercise for Jerlyn as she had not been exercise for many weeks.. But overall it was fun but tiring.. So after the walk we came back and I treat Jerlyn to MacDonald's breakfast and went home for nap.. It is Xuening birthday too so later we will be going out for dinner to celebrate for her..

Gathering

Meeting friends this two weeks.. Talk alot about future and been thinking.. Isit staying in the force too long that make me become like what I am now? What should I do?

21st to 25th Jun 2010 Mon to Fri - Working night this week.. Mon went for my 2nd IPPT and failed by 5 seconds.. Haiz.. I think I had my breathing done wrongly.. so the next few days had been jogging and trying out the correct techique of breathing..

26th Jun 2010 Sat - It was Justin's Birthday and his girlfriend wanted a surprise for him and ask us to buy birthday pie for him and meet up with them at Dempsey Hill for dinner.. 1st time eating Foie Gras taste like chicken to me.. After that we went to a pub to chill out.. Feeling bored they come up with the idea of playing zhong ji mi ma with forfeit of drinking tobasco sauce.. It really crazy and hot drinking the tobasco sauce.. making my lips swollen.. But Fabian got the worse drinking the most..

Been some time meeting them and know that Tian Gui finding job and trying to find a course to study.. So should I choose a course that related to my job or to choose what I really want to do.. What till now I still dunno what I want to do.. Haiz..

Fabian and Lili's Wedding

Nothing much happened this two weeks.. Went out to a few outing and a Wedding.. Thinking about the future again.. What will I be in 10 years time?? Will I be at home be a house husband? Or will I be a cab driver? Or will I still be in the force? Thinking that loving Jerlyn more than loving my job isit rare now?? I just want to have a simple life with Jerlyn..

6th Jun 2010 Sun - Jerlyn went to meet her friends at Jurong Safsa for KTV session.. Sent Jerlyn there and went back home and do nothing all day..

7th to 11th Jun 2010 Mon to Fri - Working late shift so nothing much.. Fri was the first day of World Cup manage to watch the first match for half an hour before going home..

12th Jun 2010 Sat - Jerlyn went to help her mum and stay at home and watch World Cup..

13th Jun 2010 Sun - It's Fabian and Lili Wedding.. Went early to Yishun with Jerlyn but who knows there is two different route for the same bus number with just the different colour.. So we took the wrong bus and came back to the interchange and took the right bus again.. Finally reach the Yishun Safsa and saw Jiamin become slimmer.. Linda was her usual self.. After the dinner, Chin Hui sent KK, Soong and us back to Woodlands and Bukit Panjang and then we took a cab back..

16th Jun 2010 Wed - It's ASMS Family Day.. So went to Singapore Discovery Centre to walk around and eat buffet and have lucky draw..

17th Jun 2010 Thurs - Went to meet my poly friends after work and jogging 4 km.. See that most of my poly friends were doing good at their career, make me think of my career seem like not going anywhere.. Is being simple really impossible for this generation?

19th Jun 2010 Sat - Went rollerblade with Jerlyn after visiting my sister and sending Jerlyn's parents to Wedding dinner at Queen street.. Finally Jerlyn get to exercise but it started to rain.. so we end it early and go back fetch Jerlyn's parents and went back home..

20th Jun 2010 Sun - Doing nothing all day at home.. Its Father's Day so went to eat dinner with Jerlyn's parents..

Long Weekend

Long Weekend coming and nothing much to do.. Going back to my base to work again.. Thinking about studying but my mind is too blank to think about the solution.. I really have nothing in my mind that what I wanted to do.. My mind is always thinking about being with my family with Jerlyn.. Maybe I need more time to think about my career..

24th to 26th May 2010 Mon to Wed - Working as usual at Paya Lebar.. Heard that Thurs will be a day off for all which is good.. And also told that next Mon going for course..

27th May 2010 Thurs - Stay at home all day as Jerlyn was working and my mind was off too..

28th May 2010 Fri - Its Vesak Day today.. Went jogging in the morning in preparation for my IPPT.. Jog to Jerlyn's Mum stall and also helped out.. In the evening went to Guo Jin's Wedding at Furama Waterfornt while Jerlyn went for her friends gathering in a pub at Boat Quay.. After the Wedding I went over to meet Jerlyn and her friends.. most of them were drunk and I got to send them home.. One of the guy who was drunk had an Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and I got the chance to drive it.. It was quite scary at 1st as I was not familiar with the car but after awhile with two drunk people shouting and egging me on I was driving real fast and in no time we reach the place.. That feeling was so shiok that I couldn't stop thinking about it.. It was really quite an experience..

29th May 2010 Sat - As we came back quite late the night before we didn't even want to go out today and we simply stay at home and rest..

30th May 2010 Sun - Went to meet Cecilia , Li Teng, Elvin and his wife to be for lunch and prawning.. Manage to catch 8 prawns this time.. Better than my last time of 3 prawns..

31th May 2010 Mon - Went for my Salvage Course.. the course which I know almost half of the stuff as I was in Salvage last time..

1st Jun 2010 Tue - Went for my Ippt.. was hoping that I can pass so Jerlyn will treat me mudpie but I failed my 2.4km run by 12 seconds.. Thought I pass as I was running with Ah Foo and he had his handphone with him and we reach the finish line with 12.40 minutes in his phone but his phone was almost 10 seconds slower.. No choice got to try again..

2nd Jun 2010 Wed - Went for my Salvage Course again but not feeling well.. Might be the run that cause it.. I had overwork my body and couldn't recover in time.. So Jerlyn brought me to see the doctor and the doctor didn't ask me how many days I need and he just gave me 2 days MC.. think I was too sick that day..

3rd Jun 2010 Thurs - So this day I stay at home and rest as my coughing and fever was not subsided yet..

4th Jun 2010 Fri - Felt better only left my coughing in doubt.. Went to meet Jerlyn and her friends for dinner at Marche at Somerset 313..

5th Jun 2010 Sat - Went to Ren Ci to visit my sister and then we to meet Nicholas and Jacqueline and also Regina and Darren for prawning.. This time manage to catch 9 prawns.. we cook and had our late dinner there.. After that went to The Helix with the group minus Regina and Darren but plus James.. Then eat prata at the Cheese Prata shop at Clementi before going home..

Thinking about Future again

Thinking about the future again.. was chatting with Jerlyn about the flat that we applied.. We applied the flat at Jurong West called the Boon Lay Grove with 300 units for 4 room and 150 units for 5 room.. We applied for the 4 room and saw that 2575 applicants applied too.. That means 1 unit is to 8 or 9 applicants ratio.. See how many people wanted to buy flats now.. But I 'm not sure that I wanted to get the flat a not as it will be ready only in year 2014.. That will be 4 years later.. But if I don't get the flat, I got to wait till Ghim Moh and Clementi SERS flat to be out and apply.. Thou it will be faster as Ghim Moh will be ready in mid next year and Clementi in end of next year.. But there will be no guarantee that I will get it.. Haiz..

Also thinking about what is my future at my workplace.. Was thinking there 3 choices for me to choose.. 1st choice is to join another platform and work in Paya Lebar.. Which might be a good thing as change of environment may make me interested in my job again.. But the problem is the place is a bit far and I have no own transport so it will be very difficult to work there.. 2nd choice is to post to the Squadron and work.. This is the only place and people that I work hard and feel appreciated.. and also the happiest place to work at.. But now that most of the people at the squadron has all left the workforce so going back might not be the same and good choice now.. 3rd choice is to stay at where I am now and go for further studies and see what will happened when I got my degree.. But till now I still don't know what I want to study.. Haiz..

9th May 2010 Sun - Went to celebrate my Dad's birthday and Mother's day with them eating at the coffeeshop near my parents house..

10th May 2010 Mon - Suppose to be a day off today but work morning as requested by Kok Foong and after work went to Paya Lebar for briefing.. I wasn't feeling well that day but still got to wait till 9pm then finish work.. Today was also the 1st day that Jerlyn started working part time at Linda's workplace.. Jerlyn came home after work to take care of me..

11th May 2010 Tue - Sick in bed at home during my day off.. Haiz wasted my day off..

12th to 14th May 2010 Wed to Fri - Wanted to take MC but was feeling better and decided not to take and went for work in the afternoon.. Jerlyn went for another interview at Banyan Tree for HR coordinator job..

15th May 2010 Sat - Went rollerblading with Jerlyn at West Coast Park.. Almost fell down when going down the slope.. Afternoon went to IMM with Jerlyn and her Mum to celebrate Mother's Day and went to eat Jap food..

16th May 2010 Sun - Went to visit my sister and was told that my sister's fan was not strong enough during those hot days..

17th May 2010 Mon - Brought Jerlyn to her 2nd interview at Banyan Tree.. She thought that she fare badly at her 2nd interview and was quite emo that day.. wanted me to go for foot massage with her.. During the massage the Sophia called and told Jerlyn she got the job and she was so happy that she treated me for the foot massage.. Today was also the 1st day at PLAB..

18th May 2010 Tue - Jerlyn 1st day at work..

19th to 21st May 2010 Wed to Fri - Working as usual..

22rd May 2010 Sat - Meet up with my Manulife agent with Jerlyn at West Coast Park.. Thought my new agent was an Indian but turn out to be a Vietnamese.. Wanted to rollerblade but due to bad weather didn't manage to do.. Had dinner at home with Jerlyn's 5th Aunt and her children coming over to visit from Malaysia..

23th May 2010 Sun - Went jogging in the morning and in the afternoon went to visit my sister.. Went to Hougang Mall area to buy a fan for my sister..

Attended Chee Shuen and Jia Min Wedding on 8th May last Saturday.. Being brother for the 4th time in Wedding, the gatecrashing games is getting more crazy..

1st May 2010 Sat - Went to Vivocity with Jerlyn and meet Regina, her husband, their baby boy Ashton, Jacqueline and Nicholas for dinner.. ate Japanese food and what Jerlyn tot to be expensive as one friend noodle cost about 10 dollars.. After that we went to Boat Quay with Jac and Nic for drinks and KTV session.. I went there just drinking their mixer green tea while the others drink till high in spirits..

2nd May 2010 Sun - Went to visit my sister in Ren Ci again.. nothing much on this day as both of us is quite tired..

3rd May 2010 Mon - Came back after work and went to Orchard to meet Jerlyn and her friends (Li Teng, Trisa and Cecilia) at Marche in 313 Somerset.. took alot of crazy photos with them while at Marche..

4th May 2010 Tue - Went to my parents house with jerlyn for dinner..

5th May 2010 Wed - Went back home after work and waited for Jerlyn to come back for her interview and have dinner with her.. Jerlyn's mum cooked her favourite Po pian for her and also bought a cake for her..

6th May 2010 Thurs - Jerlyn's birthday on this day.. Bought her favourite blue roses for her and went to Orchard Point Mushroom Pot restaurant to meet up with Tang Jie Cyndi and her boyfriend to celebrate Jerlyn's birthday.. ate till very full thanks to Cyndi who keep adding food for me.. Think she is too happy about her recently being proposed by her boyfriend.. well at least she can feel that her boyfriend loves her alot.. that is good enough.. I'm really happy for her.. She and her boyfriend bought a Green Tea Cake for Jerlyn from Bread talk.. Not bad as the 1st time eating green tea cake.. There is red beans in it too.. Taste good..

7th May 2010 Fri - Went to Jurong Point from Tampines as I was having my Mcmd Course (Partnering your boss at work) this two days to meet Jerlyn for movies. We watched Ip Man 2.. Not bad for that show.. Long time didn't watch movies with Jerlyn alone.. seem like going back to BGR state haha..

8th May 2010 Sat - Wake up at 430am to get ready for Chee Shuen and Jia Min big day.. Jerlyn was doing her 1st sister role for the wedding and was quite excited about it.. took a cab to Jia Min's house in Seng Kang to ready the gatecrashing games while Fabian send me to Chee Shuen's house after dropping Lili to have breakfast with Jason at the coffeeshop.. After the Bridal Car is here.. the brothers and Chee Shuen proceed to go gatecrash Jia Min's house.. Playing games like eating the worst edible sandwiches, wearing disposable panties, fishing mahjong tiles from icy waters and finding the right key for the gate.. After all the photos taking and serving teas to all the relatives.. we proceed to Orchid Country Club to rest.. After a few hours of rest which we really didn't rested much, we prepare for the wedding banquet.. It was really a very tiring day but a fun and enjoyable day.. This year is having so much wedding to attend with the next at the end of the month..

Boxes is here

Boxes is finally here and everywhere is full of boxes now.. It like the whole room stuffed with boxes and things.. moving around the room has become a tough job.. Think its really time to get our home faster soon..

10th April 2010 Sat - Went to Orchard Plaza as Jerlyn went for her waxing.. Thinking waxing has become a trend in Singapore as everywhere you can see the waxing ads.. But thinking of the pain they have to endure for the beauty.. Its worth it de.. If not for the pain I would have went for it too.. After that we went to Sim lim Square to get a replacement for her laptop charger.. Now finally we got two laptop to use if not Jerlyn will go crazy.. After that we went to visit my sister at Ren Ci again..

11th April 2010 Sun - Jerlyn went to help her mum again while I try to jog from home to her stall.. It took half and hour and 5 bus stops away.. Almost out of breathe when reach there.. Then the rest of the day we rotted at home..

12th April 2010 Mon - Another week of morning shift again.. Many people were pulled out of work to join the NDP rehearsal so manpower is as thin as possible lo..

13th and 14th April 2010 Tue and Wed - Was told to takeover someone course as he was pulled out for NDP.. The course was about Essential Communication Skills at Tampines Concourse.. Very far from home.. took 45 minutes of train ride plus 10 to 15 minutes of walking to reach there.. The course was good actually as the Trainer was funny and gave alot of tips and information on how to communicate effectively..

15th and 16th April 2010 Thurs and Fri - Back to work again.. Went to meet Jiamin and Boon and Linda on Fri as The ladies need to try on their gowns.. After that we went to the Prata Shop Opposite the Bridal Shop to have supper..

17th April 2010 Sat - Went to visit Jerlyn Big Aunt in Bishan.. Nothing much on this day..

18th April 2010 Sun - Went to visit my sister again.. After that went to Ang Mo Kio area for Prawning which mean Fishing for Prawns.. was quite an experience as my 1st attempt in Prawning.. By the end of the day Jerlyn and me manage to catch only 3 prawns as the other guys (Trisa and Samuel, Li Teng and Cecilia) manage to more than us.. But we manage to catch the biggest prawn of all.. After that we all went to Mellben Crab House to have a feast with Jacqueline and James.. After that we went to watch Date Night with Jac and James while the others left..

19th to 23th April 2010 Mon - Work again.. My sis was went to NUH again as she had fever and infection again.. Boxes came in Wed and now the the room is in a mess.. Don't know when can finish clearing.. Met Cyndi on Fri and chatted with her about my sis and about her and her bf.. Was quite angry with her ex bf who is such a Jerk.. Doesn't want to elaborate more.. but for now she happy with the new guy which is good.. I am happy for her too..

Back to Work

Back to work in Singapore again after 2 years.. The feeling is so different..

30 March 2010 Tue - Went to help Jerlyn's mum stall again as it was the 15th of the month.. Still feeling the jet lag.. went back home around noon time.. couldn't take it anymore we shower and took a nap till evening time..

31 March 2010 Wed - Went for a jog again.. this time really more energy to run but still only jog for one round.. Met Zhiqiang for chat as he was having his day off that day.. saw the Iphone too as Jerlyn wanted to buy.. but still considering.. After that we went to army market at Lavender Street to sew my coverall rank and also drink sugar cane drink..

1st April 2010 Thurs - Went to visit my mum at home.. Haven't seen my mum for almost six months.. think she was very happy to see me..

2nd April 2010 Fri - Its Good April today and also Nicholas birthday so we went to Vivocity to have our dinner there.. Vivocity is really crowded not like Arizona Mill there.. still not used to it.. Jerlyn bought cake for Nic and we also went to the Dessert shop to eat.. quite nice..

3rd April 2010 Sat - Went to Chevrons to claim my membership fee and IMM to check for the temporary wardrobe.. After that we went to Tanglin Halt to meet my Dad and my relatives to go to Lim Chu Kang Cemetery to visit my grandparents..

4th April 2010 Sun - Met Jerlyn's Poly Friends Trisa, Liteng and Cecilia for lunch and chat in Plaza Singapura.. Trisa brought her boyfriend along whom I knew from my workplace.. Finally found our temporary wardrobe at Carrefour .. Then went to Chomp Chomp Market to eat and meet up with Jia Min and Chee Shuean for their upcoming Wedding as we were invited to be their sister and brother.. Also meet up with Lili and Fabian and Aerith, and also Linda..

5th April 2010 Mon - 1st day of work.. Jerlyn drive me to work.. reaching there the place feel like a ghost town where people were less than the previous time I was here.. Saw Hema and Kok Foong along the way.. My Superior told me that he had no choice to post me to Changi as he got no power to stop it.. And couldn't promise me when I could come back.. So knowing that it is a losing battle as what I say will affect the result so I accepted it.. But they didn't know when I will be going over too.. So I was like nobody's child floating in the air.. I was so called attached to here for the moment..

6th April 2010 Tue - Taking the bus to work for the 1st time since few years back.. The feeling was quite different.. And I still not used to the sweating part yet.. Still the same the management told me not to do my pass 1st as I not sure where I will belong to.. So since I don't belong to anywhere I just sit and do nothing finding things to read and not helping others..

7th April 2010 Wed - I was told that I won't be going over to Changi for now as Changi side no one want to come over.. After talking for so long with so many people involved.. Just no one wanted to come over and it was solved.. WTH.. so now still that I'm officially belong to my workplace again I started helping out with the work..

8th April 2010 Thurs - I heard that another changes will come again and now I had to takeover one of my colleague job when he posted back to his own unit.. No wonder the morale is so low in this place.. There isn't much people left anymore..

9th April 2010 Fri - Same old boring stuff at work.. After work and came home.. Jerlyn wanted to go Loyang Temple to pray.. So long didn't drive in Singapore roads feeling a bit lost at times.. Luckily still manage to find our way there.. After praying Jerlyn was saying that we haven't been going out like the old times when we haven't got married.. So I was suggesting something exciting that we did when we got together not long but feeling the excitement and also feeling the tiredness and embarrassing we decided to head home..

Back In Singapore

Back in Singapore.. The Feeling is different as coming back for home trip.. Thou misses Singapore as friends and family are all over here but there is also a special feeling for Arizona.. Staying over in Arizona for 2 year which is not long but spent some of the most memorable memories over there..

14th March 2010 Sun - It the Weapon Hi Bye dinner to welcome the in coming guys and also to bid farewell to the out going guys which include me.. I was presented with a Plaque and a statue of an eagle for the 2 years of service that I provided in 425th Squadron Weapon trade.. Thou I felt sad leaving Arizona but to leave the Squadron now might not be a bad thing as the management is getting out of hand.. But I sure miss the guys who we work hard and play hard together.. and also the beautiful Arizona but not the weather..

15th to 18 March 2010 Mon to Thurs - Still got to work as I got no leave to clear.. My Superior still want me to be the Shift IC saying that doing clearance and handing over can do it before work.. wanted to maximize me till the last day.. lucky I got friends who can help me cover the Shift IC duty while I do my stuff..

19th March 2010 Fri - Its the Hi-Bye Dinner for the Squadron and also the Ceremony for the new working scheme.. so we got to go in early to rehearse for the ceremony and the usual waiting game.. After the ceremony was over which took only 15-20 minutes but we used 3 hrs to rehearse we got to wait for the Hi-Bye Dinner.. Thou it was a Hi-Bye Dinner I don't feel any special for this event.. Its like a norm to me.. maybe I not really that popular in the Squadron that I will be sorely miss.. But I really feel sad leaving Arizona..

20th March 2010 Sat - Time to leave Arizona.. woke up at 3am to get ready for the Super Shuttle to pick us up at 4am.. Reach the Airport quite early.. The Hawaiian Airline Booth wasn't open yet.. As we are the only couple who is going to Hawaii and the rest either went back straight to Singapore or go New York.. so we are the only 2 that are going by Terminal 3.. The rest were going by Terminal 4.. But during the time when we were about to go in.. A few guys came to send us after they finish sending the guys in Terminal 4.. thou there motives is to go casino after sending us but I still appreciate Ming and Serene, David and Karen, Hwee Siong and Andrew to come send us off.. Thanks guy.. Off to Hawaii.. Reach Oahu, Hawaii at around noon time.. Arizona is 3 hours ahead of Oahu.. Rented the car and went down to Hard Rock Cafe for our lunch.. After went to check in Hotel and rest and went to the streets and beach for walk.. Bought Jerlyn favorite Cheesecake and then went back hotel and knock out..

21st March 2010 Sun - Went to eat Breakfast at Duke's and then went to Dole Plantation to see Pineapples.. There's a Pineapple Express to bring you around to see the Plantation and also a Maze for you to play with.. we didn't go to the plantation tour as we think that it should be quite boring.. Went up to North Shore and see the beaches.. It was very beautiful with clear water and sand and saw turtles in the sea.. After that we went to the only Outlet in Oahu for Jerlyn to curb her shopping craving.. Went back to hotel to rest and went to walk the streets again..

22nd March 2010 Mon - Went to Pearl Harbor Historic Site to see but didn't manage to finish the whole place as we have a Whale Watching tour in the afternoon so we decided to come again tomorrow.. Took a small yacht out to the sea to watch the whale.. there only 6 people coming for this tour package.. Including the Captain and his mate there only 8 people on the yacht.. Took quite a while before we could see the whale.. and we couldn't get near to the whales as they only come up to the surface for only 5 to 10 minutes to breathe and then they will submerge into the waters again.. Got to wait for around 15 minutes before they will surface again.. And it wasn't easy to spot too.. Overall it was a great experience for me and Jerlyn as it was our 1st time taking a yacht and see the whale up close..

23rd March 2010 Tue - On this day we went to a Submarine tour to see marine life under waters.. took the blue Trolley which is kind of a bus to the Pier.. Then took the a fairly large boat to the open sea before seeing the submarine surface into the water.. went into the submarine and saw quite a amazing things under the waters..The company wanted to have more man made reef under the water.. they sunk a plane and a ship into the waters few years ago.. The Tour Guide was quite funny too.. Overall was fun and an eye opener for me and Jerlyn.. After that we went to Pearl Harbor again to finish our tour.. Learn quite a few things about the WW2 along the way.. Since it was the last day in Oahu, Hawaii for us.. we decided to go see the sunset at the beach.. Waited about an hour plus before the sun set and took quite a lot of photos along the way.. It was really a beautiful place to come.. Maybe next time if there is chance to come Hawaii or even Guam I really don't mind coming again..

24th March 2010 Wed.. Taking the Plane at around noon time so we went to eat our final breakfast in Hawaii at MacDonald.. The Breakfast menu is very different from Arizona and Singapore.. It something like one of dish is Singapore but with Hawaii style.. Went to the Airport and have our last taste of Cold Stone Ice cream before leaving.. Finally left Hawaii and landed at Narita Tokyo after 8 hours plus..

25th March 2010 Thurs - Reaching at Narita Airport for transit we make a final shopping spree for the chocolate and local food and also MacDonald Ebi Burger before rushing to our next plane to take off to our homeland Singapore..

26th March 2010 Fri - Reached Singapore at around 1am.. Was really tired now.. luckily Jerlyn's brother came to fetch us and we went home and knock out again.. wake up quite early around 10am and didn't do much on this day as we were still quite stone and Jerlyn was busily clearing room for the new stuffs..

27th March 2010 Sat - Went to see my sis who have transfer from Pasir Panjang Nursing home to Ren Ci Nursing Home in Hougang.. Saw that the place is really better than the previous home and she really have some life in her than before.. Now got to wait for next month to see how the doctors will say.. Saw Jacqueline as she live in Hougang so we called her out for chat.. Went back to see my Mum as well.. she look the same as usual.. still as small and weak..

28th March 2010 Sun - Went to help Jerlyn's Mum stall in the morning.. It was quite some time when I went to help out.. It was tiring but fun thou..

29th March 2010 Mon - Which is today.. Went for a jog since the last time I jogged was 1 year ago.. was quite tiring but didn't feel the pain in the body.. might go again another day to build up my stamina..

Boxes Have Finally Left

Finally the boxes have left on 12 March 2010.. The Apartment is so empty now with all the boxes gone.. Now the thongs that are left is the furniture and our luggage and some of the kitchenware.. we try to put as much things into the 60 boxes that we had as Jerlyn and I will be going to Hawaii for holiday.. so now we don't have much clothes left with us..

27th Feb 2010 Sat - Went to Arizona Mill to shop again.. Saw Chin Yew and Elaine leaving when we reach there.. they said there is nothing to buy but we end up buying a lot.. Saw De Li, Qing Zhong, Jia Yuan and his wife buying Crocs and they told us the good news and we end up buying 4 more pairs of Crocs.. Saw Eugene, Boo and his wife too at Arizona Mill..

28th Feb 2010 Sun - It rain.. seem like the weather in Arizona is getting much like Singapore.. just that its colder and dryer here.. went to Base Exchange to walk again..

1st to 5th March 2010 Mon to Fri - Working Night.. As the next TDY drawing nearing.. got to do all sort of preparation.. and do those "What if" stuffs..

6th March 2010 Sat - Went to Desert Hill and Ontario Mill for the last time to do the last last minute shopping.. It cold and raining.. seldom drive in the rain in the States but its still alright for me as I'm well training in wet roads in Singapore.. I almost manage to go to the two places without buying anything for myself but until the last shop in Ontario Mill which is Hollister, Jerlyn manage to tempt me into buying.. if not I will break the records haha.. but Jerlyn always manage to tempt me which is good too haha..

7th March 2010 Sun - It was raining all day again.. Jerlyn wanted to go out as she didn't want to waste a day staying at home as we only left one more weekend in the States.. It was very cosy at home warm and nice but we still went out to Walmart to walk in the rain with me in T shirt and jacket and shorts only.. really cold but wearing our hood and walking in the rain hugging each other feel good and crazy too haha..

8th to 11th March 2010 Mon to Thurs - Working Day Shift.. haven't finish my clearance and my handing over.. but still got lots of job tasks to do.. and the best of it.. my superior plan for the deadline that is so near that he didn't think about there is still job task need to be done for other trades.. and we couldn't make it in time and he blame it on us.. lucky I'm leaving in a week time.. just feel sorry for the guys who are still here.. having such a superior..

12th March 2010 Fri - Boxes leaving so I change to Night Shift to accommodate my boxes.. saw 3 guys moving up and down in around 20 minutes and all our boxes were down in the car park ready to check and load in the truck.. But one thing that one of the guy drop our photo frame box and clothing box while moving down the stair.. but he was true enough to admit it and wrote it down on the list so that we can claim if broken..

13th March 2010 Sat - which is today.. got to go post office and change my address, MVD and Bank got to go on Monday.. later will treat Jerlyn to her favorite restaurant call Applebee for the last time as she will not have chances to eat anymore.. But heard there is an Applebee Restaurant in Singapore.. At night, the new guys will be here and there will be a welcome and farewell BBQ in Aldea again.. Think I will be forced into water again.. hope it will be warmer tonight if not it will freezing cold..

3 more Weeks

3 more weeks and I will be leaving Arizona for good.. Since coming over on the very day of March 29th 2008.. It was a happy and sad 2 years in Arizona.. There lots of things happened over when I was here good and bad.. Try out staying alone 10000 miles away from my family.. Learn to cook my own meals.. Wash my own clothes.. Drive few hundreds miles from one state to another state.. work in a harsh environment like extreme hot weather from 120 degree F to extreme cold weather around 30 to 40 degree F.. I also got married with my beloved Jerlyn.. Learn to take care of her when she comes over.. Go to many places with her to enjoy.. Sharing joy and sadness with her.. There so many things that I have done over here in Arizona that bring me more joy than sadness.. I really hate to leave this place but sad to say its time to move on.. thou not all is good about Arizona.. The very bad coming from the work here which I will not talk much about it.. most of the things are really good memories..

17th Feb 2010 Wed - Went back to work.. Getting more restless at work.. but still work as hard as those who just came from Singapore..

18th to 19th Feb 2010 Thurs to Fri - Feeling the stress from work as going back Singapore will have more shit to solve than here..

20th Feb 2010 Sat - Raining all day.. Having stomach upset doesn't know why.. went to Costco with Jerlyn and the guys to grab last items to pack into boxes..

21st Feb 2010 Sun - Stomach still punishing me.. Went to Arrowhead Mall and Lee Lee Supermarket with Jerlyn.. Saw Darren and family along the way..

22nd to 25th Feb 2010 Mon to Thurs - Work till like a zombie.. Not having enough sleep..

26th Feb 2010 Fri - A safety day for the Squadron and also naming ceremony for the new guys.. An event that just want to make people drunk.. On this day you will know many friends and enemies that you have..

Now that going back Singapore is nearer.. I also got to think about my future too.. To stay or not to stay.. that is the ultimate question.. The good thing about working in Arizona is there is quality time given for me to spend time with Jerlyn like most American companies focus.. They focus on families more than their work.. Whereas Singaporean focus on career more than their families.. And for me staying in the force does not give me time to build my family.. But to leave the force also need a lot of courage.. What can I do after I leave the force? Should I study and work part time after leaving the force? Does Jerlyn cope with her job well so that I should leave the force with ease of mind? Does the force let me do the stuff that I wanted to do instead of forcing more people to leave? Do I have time to spend with my beloved Jerlyn to build a family around us? Do I have the money to buy a love nest? There so many questions I couldn't solve.. What should I really do when I get back?

CNY and Vday

26th Jan Tue - Rotting at home..

27th-29th Jan Wed-Fri - Working as usual.. Think there is nothing much to say about my work.. not much I can say either..

30th Jan Sat - Went to Rawhide.. it a cowboy town where you will see people dresses up in western town attire.. eat breakfast and took a black and white photo with Jerlyn dress up as a saloon lady while I dress up as a cowboy.. after that we went to Arizona Mills for shopping again..

31st Jan Sun - Stay at home again.. Feel that there not much places I wanted to go but for Jerlyn she wanted to go alot of places before leaving Arizona..

1st-5th Feb Mon-Fri - Not much to say again as it is work and work.. but on Fri 5th my boxes came.. mean that I will be spending time packing my stuff..

6th Feb Sat - Went to eat A&W and then went Go Karting with the guys.. 1st time trying Go Kart and it was really fun.. but after two races my back kind of hurt so didnt continue for the 3rd race.. After Go Kart we went to eat chinese food called Hua Xin..

7th Feb Sun - Stay at home and pack boxes..

8th-11th Feb Mon-Thurs - Heard that I will be retired from the Load Barn so no more load training for me.. There has been good and bad times in the Load Barn for these 22 months of training and I appreciate the help from Steve, Tim and Rusty.. I learn quite alot from them.. And also gone thru with so much crew members changes.. Thanks to all the guys who gone thru the tough times with me..

12th Feb Fri - It the Chinese new year celebrations at Luke.. There food and lots of prizes to be won.. There the 3D lucky draw where they will roll out 3 numbers and if the 3 numbers match the numbers that we bought few days ago then there will be prizes.. 1st prize was 888USD cash.. but too bad no luck in winning.. there even prizes like laptop, camera and xbox..

13th Feb Sat - Drive up to Vegas for the 5th time and should be the last time going there.. stayed at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino.. 1st time took 1 hour to check into a hotel.. so tiring.. the room wasnt that good either.. went to Town Square and Premium Outlet and also walk the strip..

14th Feb Sun - It Valentine Day and the actual day of the CNY but it was like a shopping day to me haha.. spend most of the day at Premium Outlet and then check in to Hard Rock Hotel.. its really grand and worth the money to stay over.. went to the strip for the last time and M & M world to buy gifts for friends..

15th Feb Mon - Its Presidents Day to honor President George Washington.. It was call Washington Day at 1st and later changed to Presidents Day.. Went to Outlet Centre and Nellis AFB to take photos of the Thunderbirds.. Went to BX for a walk too before going back home..

16th Feb Tue - Went to return the rental car and went for a baby shower for BT and Selina Lim
baby girl.. went to BX and commis to buy groceries and went back home to rest..

Key West

After Christmas the next big thing is New Year..

29th-30th Dec Tue-Wed - Nothing much working as usual.. preparing for the Key West Det next week..

31th Dec New Year Eve Thurs - It was a working day as still need to clock the flying hours.. Went to watch Avatar the movie with Jerlyn, Winson and Kimberly..

1st-4th Jan Sat-Mon - Staying at home accompany Jerlyn watching movies, spending quality and private moments together as the rest of guys were out in Flagstaff, went to Mekong Plaza with Winson to eat Taiwanese food on one of the day.. the food was so-so only..

5th-7th Jan Tue-Thurs - Work again.. most of the things packed for Key West.. as usual many things cocked up..

8th Jan Fri - Suppose to fly off to Key West but the KC10 plane couldn't arrive yesterday to fly for today so I was one of the crew got delay and to leave for Key West tomorrow.. Went to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 with Jerlyn before leaving..

9th Jan Sat - Fly off to Key West around 9 plus in the morning AZ time.. Reach Key West Boca Chica Field around 4 plus in the afternoon FL time.. weather was very cold and windy.. everything seen so chaos.. Went back to the hotel to check in but got mixed up with the names.. so no room under my name.. then went up the door couldn't open.. then took around 1 hour plus to solve all the issues.. Finally can get some rest..

10th Jan Sun - Don't even know the place so got to follow the car goes.. went to their downtown to eat lunch and then went to their base exchange to buy water.. but as this is a naval base so it call a navy exchange.. After that we went back to hotel and rest.. around late afternoon went out again to find the other shift guys but couldn't find them so explore our own and ate at Denny's.. went to Hard Rock Cafe to buy City Tee and Hurricane Glass too..

11th-16th Jan Mon-Sat - worked six days in the row due to some problems and bad management planning.. seeing the sunrise and sunset at work almost everyday.. went back hotel don't really have the mood and energy to go out to explore Key West..

17th Jan Sun - Rest the whole daytime at hotel watching TV and watching dramas in laptop.. around the evening time went out for our trade piss up.. went to a buffet restaurant to eat.. food not very good.. after that went to Teasers, a Nudist Girls Bar where you can see Girls walking around just with bras and panties on or some just with bras and skirts on strips down to naked and pole dance.. think after this it will become a routine for the guys to visit every det if that det have Nudist Bar..

18th Jan Mon - Its a holiday call Martin Luther King's Birthday.. Not sure who this guy was but its good to have a day off.. Finally got time to go explore Key West.. but still got to wait for everyone to wake up.. went to eat Mac n the afternoon and went to explore the southermost point in USA.. went to walk at the Mallory Square and see the Lighthouse Museum from outside.. after that was dinner at TGIFridays.. Didn't manage to go to the beach to see the clear waters.. actually there are more places to explore but didn't got much time to go..

19th-23rd Jan Tue-Sat - work again but this time working late shift.. not a good week again.. working till 4am for 2 nights out of 4.. think this is the worst det I ever experience.. everything not going smoothly.. even suppose to leave on sat 23rd but got delay again..

24th Jan Sun - Finally time to go back home to see Jerlyn.. praying very hard the plane wont give us problem again and send us back.. finally reach back in Luke around 4pm AZ time.. help out doing the stuffs outside the flight line while waiting for the luggage to come.. good to hear that the management giving us two days off since we worked two Saturdays anyway..

25th Jan Mon - Sold my Toyota Camry for 9300usd to a lady.. bought this car in Jan 09 and drove around many places and clocked around 10000 miles with this car.. went to LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Page and Antelope Canyon.. Jerlyn and me was quite sad to sell it but no choices as we are leaving AZ soon.. Went for another BBQ session at Aldea with the trade guys.. as usual lots of food and boozes.. and as usual when someone is high they will do crazy things and push people down the swimming pool.. the weather was very cold that day as it is still officially winter but when one goes down in the waters all had to go down.. and I was wearing 3 layers on top and jeans.. lucky before its my turn to go down someone puke in the water and everyone ran out.. if not I sure got to strip down to my boxers and catch a cold..
