Elva is 80 days old

Elva is 80 days (11 weeks) old.

We went to Baozhen's daughter Chole 1 year old birthday at woodlands. They had their party at the void deck of their flat. It was a simple celebration for her.

I went for a 2 days QEHS Internal Auditor Course at Singapore Post Centre. The trainer knows a lot of my previous and present company. He was telling me that seeing the situation, I might need to get a new job soon.

On Good Friday we stayed at home to repack our store room. We also went to Popular book store to buy jumping clay for Elva. Jumping clay is a type of clay that can make mound into different type of shape. We wanted to mound a cast foe Elva hand and feet for memory sake.

I finished my last day of class, got to prepare for exams soon. After that I came back and stayed home with my two lovely ladies.

Elva is 73 days old

Elva is 73 days (10 weeks) old.

We wanted to go for Takashimaya to see the baby fair but it rained when we just reached our bus stop and we came back without going.

I went to my company orientation when i already joined for 10 months so they play a game where most senior to most junior line up in a row. I was the so called most senior so I was first in line and get to eat the tea break first.

I thought more about next year as there might be changes to the company, so getting my degree is a priority as I do not know what will happen to me next year. At least the degree could find me a job if there is a retrenchment.

We wanted to go for baby fair in Expo but heard that it was a small size event, so we forgo it and went to Philips Warehouse Sale instead. We managed to get the milk bottles we wanted, the disposable breasts pads and milk bottles teats for Elva's infant care needs.

We still want to go Takashimaya for the baby fair. I also need to catch up with MF and his family as we couldn't get the timing right to meet.

Elva is 66 days old

Elva is 66 days (9 weeks) old.

We went to Dores Ming ( Ming Ge's Daughter) one year old birthday celebration. He booked a chalet at Chevron for Dores. It was raining very heavy so we took a taxi there and the chalet was too small for them. It was so crowded that we had to stand outside the chalet. Seem like Chevron Chalet is not suitable for large crowd.

I had an unpleasant event where parent company and child company cannot blend when information is shared. So I was like in the middle of the sandwich. Hated that feeling. Seem like this kind of situation will happened often.

We went to Bugis to meet Jerlyn's colleagues for dinner. We brought along little Elva to eat steamboat. I think we had a hard time eating and taking care of Elva. Bringing a baby out for dinner and chat is not easy.

We went to Jacqueline's baby Isabelle one month old celebration at Hougang. Isabelle is younger than Elva by 4 weeks and 5 days. It was during lunch time so it was easier for Elva. I feel that Elva does not like to hang out at night too long.

We managed to get back $100 out of $500 from someone who borrow our money. Still got $400 to go. We also got our photos back from Studio Loft where Jerlyn went to collect while I was in school having lesson.

Elva is 59 days old

Elva is 59 days old (8 weeks).

She can now sit in the rocker and watch TV with us.

We went to KF and Hema's son one year old birthday celebration at your place. They brought forward the birthday as they were going to Arizona soon. It rained very heavy and we went to kiddy palace at Toa Payoh with the mummies club gang and as usual we daddies chat in one corner while the mummies in another. Heard that Boon's car will reach its end in August so they will have no own transport after that.

Jerlyn went for her company Dinner and Dance at Expo, so I took care of Elva when I finished my test in school. There were only 3 guys taking the test and only me and the other guy taking the same test. The guy who took the same test as me was late and seem like he did not know or understand the test. He wanted to ask me but was rejected by the person in charge of the test. I carry on my test and try to answer as much as I can. Elva was quite cooperative when we were alone, just that she did not want to sleep. Maybe mummy was not around. When Jerlyn came home, she took over and I fall asleep.

We went to the motherhood fair at Mothercare flagship store at Harbourfront. There were quite a lot of people but was not as much as my classmate told me. We did not buy a lot, thinking that we still have kiddy palace vouchers so we only bought stroller fan for Elva.

Elva is 52 days old

Elva is 52 days old (7 weeks)

I went to Chennai, India for Toll OSH Conference. It was the first time going overseas for Conference. I went to work on Monday to clear some administration work, and then went to bank to deposit money and change money too. SGD 1 is 42.55RPS.

We took Singapore Airline from Singapore to Chennai. It took 4 hours to reach there. The first two days we were at the hotel all day, on the third day, we went to the site to see the warehouse for any safety improvement. We also went for some sight seeing at the temple and statues. The last day we went to the office and have our last meeting.

I bought monopoly and some memory games for Elva when I was in Chennai as it was very cheap. Monopoly was selling SGD11 while Singapore was selling SGD45 at least.

This few days really make me miss my wife and Elva. This was the first time I went overseas without them. The next overseas will be going Taipei with them.
